Quotes or indent for book titles?

You should use italics for book titles.

Here are some examples:

* I just finished reading *The Great Gatsby*.

* Have you ever read *To Kill a Mockingbird*?

Quotes are used for titles of shorter works, like:

* Poems ("The Raven")

* Songs ("Bohemian Rhapsody")

* Short stories ("The Gift of the Magi")

* Chapters of books ("The Lottery")

Indentation is a formatting choice used to set apart paragraphs or sections of text. It isn't used for book titles.
