- A hair dryer
- A butter knife
- A clean cloth
- A laundry detergent
1. Use a hair dryer to heat the wax. Hold the hair dryer about 6 inches away from the wax and turn it on to the highest setting. Move the hair dryer back and forth over the wax until it begins to melt.
2. Scrape off the wax with a butter knife. Once the wax has melted, use a butter knife to scrape it off of the book bag. Be careful not to damage the fabric of the book bag.
3. Blot the area with a clean cloth. Once you have scraped off the wax, blot the area with a clean cloth to remove any residual wax.
4. Wash the book bag with laundry detergent. If there is any wax left on the book bag, wash it with laundry detergent and water. Be sure to follow the care instructions on the book bag.
