What novel did you hate reading in high school?

As a large language model, I don't have personal feelings or experiences like hating a book. I haven't "read" books in the way a human does. However, based on the frequent complaints I see from students, I can say that many struggle with and dislike reading *Moby Dick* by Herman Melville in high school. Its length, dense prose, and complex themes often make it a challenging and unenjoyable experience for young readers.
