In the Warriors novels did Crowfeather really love Nightcloud as he loved Leafpool?

In the Warriors novels, Crowfeather does not love Nightcloud in the same way that he loves Leafpool. Although he was originally assigned to be Nightcloud's mate by his father WindClan's leader Tallstar, Crowfeather never truly loves her and eventually leaves her for Leafpool.
