Who makes up the lynching party in To Kill a Mockingbird?

Bob Ewell, Tom Robinson's accuser, leads the lynching party in To Kill a Mockingbird. He gathers a group of white men, including Heck Tate, the sheriff, and Cecil Jacobs, a young man from Maycomb. The group attempts to forcefully remove Tom Robinson from the jail and lynch him. However, Atticus Finch, Tom's lawyer, and his children, Jem and Scout, stand guard outside the jail and prevent the lynching from happening.
