Who is the first Indian ruler who wrote an autobiography?

The first Indian ruler who wrote an autobiography is believed to be Emperor Jahangir, the fourth Mughal emperor, who ruled from 1605 to 1627. He wrote his autobiography in Persian, titled "Tuzuk-i-Jahangiri" (The Memoirs of Jahangir).

While there might have been other rulers who wrote autobiographies before Jahangir, his work is the first one that has survived to this day and is widely acknowledged as the earliest surviving autobiography of an Indian ruler.
