Who is Barbara Henry?

Barbara J. Henry is an American psychologist best known for her research on children with cancer and their psychosocial adaptation, including their relationships with family, friends, hospital staff, and other children within the school environment. While in the field of research she published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, several research grants and contracts; as well as numerous book chapters, books, and manuals related to her work with parents and children coping with stress. Currently Dr. Barbara teaches in the clinical doctorate Psychology Department at Carlos Albizu University, Miami Campus. Also Dr. Henry also owns her private practice offering a range of professional clinical psychological services for all age groups in the South Florida Area specializing in child psychotherapy, psychological assessments for all, individual child and adult psychotherapy, grief counselling for all, parenting consultation, couple’s consultation.
