_Huey Lewis Kostanick_ (_aka Huey Lewis, born _Huey Lewis Freese III_, 5 July, 1950_) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Huey Lewis and the News.

As well as being a popular singer and songwriter, Lewis has an acting career, with the most notable roles including Billy Flynn in the long-running musical Chicago on Broadway, and the supporting role of Johnny LaRue in the 1994 feature film *Sphere*.

Lewis has been inducted into the California Music Hall Of Fame, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019.
