In his book "The Greatest Story Ever Told," Fulton Oursler offers a beautiful answer to the question of life's meaning. He writes:
> *What, then, is the meaning of this life? Life means to come out of obscurity in order to find God in one or other fashion, at one point or another. Whether there is conscious search or only a vague groping, all lives in a sense are a striving toward the Source -- or away from It. For all men are by nature religious."*
Oursler's words remind us that we are all on a journey, a journey to find God. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all searching for meaning and purpose in our lives. And the only true source of meaning and purpose is God.
When we find God, we find peace. We find love. We find joy. We find everything we could ever want or need.
So if you are feeling lost or alone, or if you are wondering what the meaning of life is, I encourage you to turn to God. He is the only one who can truly satisfy your heart's desires.
Prayer:
*Dear God, I come to you today humbly seeking your guidance and direction. I know that I am lost and alone without you. I surrender my life to you, and I ask you to lead me to find your perfect will for my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.*
