What is Pam Munoz favorite book?

Pam Muñoz Ryan says that her favorite book is "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien, which she read during her third grade year. “It was the first time I had ever been so captivated by a book, so transported to a different world,” she says. “I was fascinated by the characters... [and] I was entranced by the story. I wanted to know what would happen next! What would Bilbo Baggins do, how would he handle himself in this dangerous quest? I found myself looking forward to reading the book again and again, which is something I hadn’t done before.”
